A PATH FOR DREAMS

I had dreamt of what light rays like these might look like in real life. Never had I imagined that I would ever bear witness to them in person. The layers of fog clung to the mountains all night and I raced to the groves of redwoods well before first light. I had longed for the opportunity to shoot beams of light but they always seemed to elude me. Once I got a lesson from Mother Nature on what to look for, I paid attention on where to be and when! They are fleeting, sometimes only lasting for a moment, other times leaving you speechless for an hour. This composition had been one I had searched long and hard for. To finally have it in my collection is nothing short magical!
