Hidden in the forests, if the conditions are right, the rhododendrons bloom. The soil has to have had the right amount of rain, and therefore, it must also dry out to retain the perfect amount of water. If conditions are just right, these magical flowers bloom in great abundance among the redwoods. This is one of the best blooms I had experienced and a composition I had imagined for quite some time. I feel blessed to have captured such a fleeting moment where giants live and protect the treasures of the forest floors.
