I had spent many days, years actually, obsessing over getting this shot! As a matter of fact, I had missed this bloom by a couple days on numerous occasions trying to time it correctly. Failures only seem to fuel my desires to capture artwork as I see it within my vision. With each failed attempt, I am more aware that I am drawing closer to the moment that I am able to finally see my objective clearer with a definitive fruition. The journey to this capture was one such moment and when everything came together, I simply marveled at the magic and beauty of our earth!
