After thoroughly researching this basin and which direction the sun hits the mountains just right, I set my mind to coming here several times to get the light just right. A long exposure captured the brilliance of this alpine lake perfectly! I had envisioned late afternoon alpenglow across this lake and with a bit of hiking around the shoreline, I was able to find the perfect spot for a composition.
