My son, Wyatt, hiked hard up the ridge of this steep incline. His lungs heaved and his young legs galvanized their strength as we transversed the final approach to our vantage point! The sun was close to setting, with only minutes to find our composition and capture the light pouring across the cloud covered top of Chimney Rock.The fall colors intensified as the sun set brilliant warm hues across the landscape. With fall fast approaching, we managed to capture this image poised against the backdrop of the warmly colored aspen trees basking in the last light of day!
