Autumn In Telluride

As I set out, I could feel it in the air that there was something special about the evening. The air was crisp, and the clouds had been rolling in all day, however there was this atmosphere about and it was very ethereal, my most favorite of conditions to chase light in! I was driving down a bumpy old dirt road to a place where I had previously found a small patch of red autumn oak brush. It was so marvelous to see the stunning vibrance of color and the majestic peak in the background that I knew this was the place I wanted to set up and I didn’t have to wait long either! Within moments I was bearing witness to one of the most beautiful moments of mountain light gracing everything it touched! I simply felt honored to be alive in this moment.
