Bells Dawn

The storm had visibility near zero all night as an early season storm came through and doused a fresh coat of snow across the Rockies. Early the next morning, we set out to get a first look at the Maroon Bells covered with snow and peak fall colors stretched across the basin. The murky morning light gave way to the most remarkable scene imaginable with beautiful light softly touching the peaks and the glow of aspen leaves brilliantly showing off up into the high country. It is moments like these that make the years of waiting for the right conditions worthwhile to me. Sitting here in awe of everything that gives me purposes in this beautiful journey called life!
