This geographic structure along the California coast has captivated me for some time. Due to the often poor lighting conditions, I have travelled here many times in search of the perfect light. The burn of a sunset never did this image justice, however one evening, before the sun went down as the monsoons hit the shoreline, the glow of light off of this tower cloud compelled me to shoot it and finally capture the composition how I had envisioned it.
