Deep Woods

Hidden deep within the forests, if the conditions are just right, the rhododendrons bloom. In order for these beautiful pink flowers to bloom, the soil has to have had the right amount of rain, and therefore, the soil must also dry out to retain the ideal amount of moisture. To my delight, as I made my way throughout the redwoods, there were copious blooms of the rhododendrons everywhere! Searching for a composition that would complement the moody fog rolling through the giant redwoods along with the delicate pink tones from the flowers, I am pleased to say that I have captured what I had been searching for.
