Flower Dance

My favorite pursuit is chasing light among the rarest moments. When the desert blooms, which is fleeting and exceptionally rare, I drop everything to chase these momentous events! With a hopeful heart, I embarked on a long hike around the mountain before first light. To my delight, the ground was covered in little purple and yellow flowers! As the sun rose, I found this incredible composition highlighting the golden mountain along with lupine and Mexican Poppies carpeting the desert floor. I sat well into the day shooting the copious blooms, delighting my senses with the songs of birds and the flowers swaying in the gentle breeze.
