FOLDS OF TIME

The thunder storms relentlessly roared all night, heavy rains soaked the land all day with incredible lightning storms firing off across the land! That evening just before dark, we hiked across these deep rolling badlands in an attempt to get closer to some distant buttes where the land becomes this soft blue during blue hour! After hiking at a vigorous pace, we finally got into position before it was too dark and I was able to capture this frame of these many layers with deepening shadows building between each layer. The depth and color was astounding! I am thrilled that I was able to capture such magic in the desert!
