Hallowed Falls

One of my favorite aspects of the journey is venturing to places untold, places made up in dreams and often without trails, directions or any hiker ratings! Places like these are like little miracles and in general the most special to find as they represent a modern day treasure hunt! This well off the beaten trail little falls was simply magical. With little more noticeable than a tightly stacked contour line along the creek bed, I knew that it had to be there, however after a 6.8 mile trek through heavy undergrowth and lots of deadfall we have our answer and certainly without question there was no disappointment! Hidden by multiple valley rifts and thick, almost impenetrable forest, this beautiful place represents the hard work of having an adventurous heart and an open mind.
