The lavender was in peak bloom as the aroma wafted through the summer air. I thought to myself how amazing and good it is to be alive and to take in such incredible scenes such as these! With Mt. Hood looming high into the sky, I composed this shot, which I felt really captured the essence of this field and the magnitude of the mountain beyond. Blending these perspectives resulted in the shot which I had envisioned.
