IN THIS MOMENT

After setting up on the shoreline well before sunrise, I was highly anticipating how the light of day might filter through the heavy clouds above. The trade winds blew hard into my face and the waves crashed furiously at our feet. As the color began to reveal all of the softer tones, I began racing back and forth with a faster shutter, snapping images of crashing waves and trying to run out of harm’s way before getting overtaken with the foam of each wave. After dozens of attempts, I finally captured this image, which made me so excited. Now only if I could explain what the crazy guy was doing running back and forth on the beach that morning. Just envisioning the scene makes me laugh hysterically!
