Lupine flowers are my favorite by a landslide! My lupine radar seems to always be on, no matter where I am. Sometimes it’s luck coming across a field, sometimes it is friendship that leads me in their direction and sometimes it is pure intuition due to many, many years of learning their preferred conditions. No matter the reason, I feel blessed to have the opportunity to share these rare moments in time. I was truly excited about capturing this composition with the purple lupine center stage and Rockies under a truly dramatic sky. I managed to be at the right place at the right time and captured this composition perfectly, as I had envisioned.
