Morning Bloom
It had been overcast all morning, with low clouds and fog drifting among the forest that I had been walking through. The sky began to break ever so slightly, allowing a beam of light to come through illuminating the lake and some distant pines. With the perfect patch of Rosey Spirea blooms as my focalpoint, they led my eyes on a journey through this scene until reaching the furthest meadow beyond. I think this image personifies the Pacific Northwest with its dense forests and foggy goodness.
