It had snowed all night long and I had been anticipating first light all night. The snow continued to fall into the early hours of morning as I sat wide awake at 3:00 AM hoping that it might lighten up for some beautiful morning light to come through if the snow would stop. Just as dawn approached, the snow began to white out and I could barely see anything as I made my way to this location. I sat there in the dark waiting for the right moment for the skies to clear just enough to compose the shot! It would be a couple of long and bone chilling hours before the snow stopped and the sun brightly shone itself through the clouds enough to frame the perfect shot!
