I had been hiking steep uphill for a while when I came into this small opening and behold there was this perfect cut in the trees that gave way to this incredible view of the glaciers and peak of the mountain, creating the most perfect composition! A beautiful display of wildflowers in full bloom below the northern flanks of Mt. Rainier. This intimate scene was one that I simply stumbled upon in this quiet meadow, well off the beaten path.
