ONCE IN A DREAM

Chasing storm light has become an obsession of mine. As of late, there have been many storms hitting the California coastline and leaving behind some absolutely incredible opportunities for once in a lifetime photographic compositions! On this particular morning, I left my home at around midnight to arrive on these foothills at dawn… As the rotation of the earth began to reveal the warm glow of the sun, the soft rolling hills began to light up with an ethereal light that I can only describe as life changing! I spent several hours hiking about searching for more magic in the emerald foothills, with cascades of light filtering over the ridges and onto the high mountains covered in fresh snow.
