Pololu Coast

This morning we awoke well before first light. I was excited to get into position for sunrise on one of my favorite places on the Big Island! The light here can be quite magical at times and I certainly did not want to miss out. After driving around the island in the early pre dawn, we parked and began hiking as the sun was beginning to come up. I captured several images however it wasn’t until about 30 minutes later that I actually captured the moment I’m most excited about when the sun cast a remarkable warm glow across the cliffs with dappled light! I hope that you enjoy this moment of Pacific Island magic as much as I enjoyed being here and capturing it!
