Pukalani Dreams

This image is like nothing I’ve done before, I had a vision of incorporating these dolphins swimming along one another into a beautiful scene on the Napali Coast! This cave on the north shore blew me away! Arriving at this magical place, the sun from inside the cave lit the tropical Pacific Ocean, creating a turquoise glow that was simply breathtaking. The light rays illuminated the ocean, cascading onto the dolphins. Long sacred to the ancient Hawaiins, Pukalani Sea Cave, or translated as “Heaven’s Gate”, was held with high regard and will go down as one of my most overjoyed and evocative moments of capture!
