QUIET EMBRACE

The redwood forest holds a hidden enchantment about it. With all but impenetrable walls of deadfall and thick ferns, the tangle of this place is foreboding. Yet, for those with a bit of an adventurous spirit and a tolerance for stinging nettles and poison oak, you can find yourself face to face with stunning scenes like this! After searching for a nice composition all morning, these rhododendrons were in peak bloom which immediately caught my eye but the most magical part of how this composition came together was the thick moss-covered branches mixed with the blooms! I felt like I had just discovered Narnia!
