The central coast has long held a lot of magic to me. With endless miles of exemplary rock formations and home to so many varied types of terrain, it has long been a subject of study. Natural Bridges and the small sea stack arch just off the beach is quintessential Santa Cruz and Iconic California! This evening, the clouds were just wild, and I thought to myself that it just might be a promising evening for a perfect sunset shot. At the perfect moment, the light began to grow luminous and colorful! I shot this image for 1/5th of a second just to capture the waves exactly as I desired with a bit of subtle movement in the foreground.
