By far, the most incredible waterfall I have ever seen in my life! Hidden by multiple valley rifts and thick, almost impenetrable forests, it took me a lot of exploring to come upon this magical island gem. Well over four hundred feet high, the mist that came off of this fall made the composition very difficult to capture without misting the camera lens. However, after many successive attempts, I was able to achieve one of the most magical captures I have seen! With the huge fall in the background and this smaller, clear pouring plunge in the foreground, I felt brought balance and form to this image. I hope you enjoy one of my most memorable and sacred moments exploring the remote falls of the Hawaiian rift valleys.
