SHOREBREAK SUNSET

I have surfed my entire life, lived on the water and have always been in awe of the ocean. I have long been fascinated by the way a wave forms, crests and breaks. I could literally sit on a beach and watch the waves for hours. When I began to study the waves, I was always looked at like I was a crazy man, running up and down the beach trying to get the right composition framed up right. This day was no different, as I watched the shoreline and studied it for some time to see where the waves looked like they were breaking with more regularity. I set up waiting for the perfect wave and after several attempts; I captured what I feel is a beautiful sculpture frozen in time!
