Spring Bloom

With the recent rains, the hills of Southern California where I call home began to grow lush green, ending a decade long drought! Not long after, the hillsides began to burst with vibrant colors like I have never seen before! California Golden Poppies began to encrust the mountains in a glowing, vibrant orange crush all over and across their ranges! It was simply one of the most sincerely divine sights one could ever take in with ones eyes. Almost sensory overload with each blink of your eyes, the fragrant aroma of new blooms filled the air as millions of monarch butterflies danced about in the gentle sun kissed landscape… Absolutely if only for a moment, living within a dream.
