Spring Meadow
After driving all night upon hearing of a rare super bloom of my favorite little flowers taking place in North Lake Tahoe, I figured any chance of sleep could wait! I was driving down backroads early in the morning, trying to find a patch of these beautiful lupine. Hidden behind a cluster of aspen trees, I saw a field of purple. Grabbing my camera and tripod, I hiked through the marsh to capture the morning light gently kissing the lupine. The light intensified and warmed the scene as I composed the shot!
