STANDING OUT

Standing before a marvel of nature can have the effect of leaving one speechless, as this was the case for me in every way. The flowers covering the mountain in every direction had me on sensory overload. The fog danced in and out of the mountains and the gentle breeze wafted the aroma of lupine blooms, filling the air with a pungent sweet odor. As I walked and gazed upon the scene, I came across this perfect patch of peach colored lupine. A rare genetic disposition that created a true standout among the sea of flowers, I composed this patch until I got it right. Here before you, I present the work of many years of trying for just such a capture!
