VORTEX
The swells were relentless as they pounded this small stretch of Hawaiian coastline! As the waves began to crest and break, I would attempt to dive beneath each one trying to time the shutter perfectly in order to capture this scene! I must have done this several hundred times before getting the shot and enduring countless beatings from this large Hawaiian shorebreak! I am so happy that I remained steadfast in my determination to get the shot, as this beautiful sapphire blue gem was a remarkable moment of experiencing raw nature!
