Yosemite Glow

Standing before a marvel of nature can have the effect of leaving one completely speechless, as this was the case for me. The soft morning light had a calm and warm effect on me as I stood at the banks of the peacefully flowing Merced River. The autumn foliage was brilliantly glowing in the early morning light and there were a few leaves resting gently upon some submerged grasses at the edge of the bank. They really led your eye into the scene and created a story of which I longed to tell with my lens. Here was a moment I had never seen captured before that truly resonated within me, my curiosity leaves me wondering how it makes you feel inside as well.
