Apparition

After a series of very fortunate events, I was graciously invited to a Native Navajo family’s private land to take part in something so rare, even the family themselves hardly visit. This is not Antelope Canyon, this is sacred ground. The highest sandstone walls I have ever seen, carving and winding deep chasms into the stone. After spending the better part of the day in this particular slot, the light began to shoot deep into the floor of the canyon, creating a marvel I had never imagined that I would see. As the sun rose above, an apparition appeared before me. A majestic and beautiful sight that appears and then departs within minutes.
