Beckoning
This lighthouse took me back to not long ago, as a mariner and sailor who traveled the world growing up. For much of my life, lighthouses were always a pleasant sight. We solely navigated by sextant and that left us utilizing things like set, drift and dead reckoning when sight fixes were unavailable. Lighthouses were like little beacons confirming that we had remained true to our course. For years, I have loved them and still do! Here is a shot of one beautiful lone sentinel of the coast.
