Calm Hearts

The second day spent chasing these beautiful Icelandic horses, I was stuck in a complete blizzard that was coming down relentlessly for what felt like the entire day. With each horse either huddled away from me or completely covered in snow, I noticed these two lovers leaning up against one another. The contrast of their beautiful coats against the complete white out conditions made for such a beautiful moment that I couldn’t hesitate on capturing. Two living beings coming together for safety and comfort is an incredible feeling in all walks of life and this is exactly what comes to my mind with this particular image.
