COZY CABIN

I had made the journey to this cabin many times, yet on most years, I had been there just a touch too early or a little too late. This particular pocket of aspens doesn’t turn color until everything else has long lost its leaves, yet this is the precise time when this canyon absolutely goes wild with color! I had long dreamt of the day when I would see this cozy little cabin enveloped in golden aspen leaves and this scene simply melted my heart with all the feelings of what home in the fall feels like. After all the years, to finally capture this moment, really resonated within me and I was so humbly thankful for the moment.
