After nearly a decade of chasing the right conditions, I finally saw my opportunity! With over 30 trips that early spring, I checked on the growth and development of the verbena flowers. Each time, I learned more and more about this resilient little flower. They would get relentless days on end of sweltering heat and winds! Then on the final day, they were in peak bloom! The wind was quiet and the clouds caught the light rays on the setting sun. Everything was magic and thus ended my quest for the perfect capture of these precious and rare little blooms.
