I had been tracking this particular storm system for at least ten or more days, it was fierce and extremely cold, I knew the odds were pretty good that we would see a ton of snow in the desert South West, however, nothing could have prepared me for what was to come. With over a foot of fresh powdery snow covering the entire desert and some incredible departing storm light, the scene revealed a mysterious landscape that I may never see again and I had been fortunate enough the witness this in person for the first time, it was absolute magic!
