Eminent Light
The desert was flash flooding everywhere this day! Monsoons were ravaging the landscape as rivers of water washed out roads and took large amounts of debris wherever it wanted with ease. One of the exciting things about landscape photography is that you inadvertently end up chasing weather all over. Where the weather is the worst, you often find the most compelling shots! This image was captured after a giant storm cell lifted off of the desert and the rays of final light flooded in, wiving warmth once again to the earth.
