After nearly a decade of chasing and hoping for the right conditions, I finally had my opportunity! With over 30 trips that early spring, I checked on the verbena flowers' growth and development. Each time, I learned more and more about this resilient little flower. They would be subjected to endless days of sweltering heat and relentless wind! Then on the final day, they were in peak bloom! The wind was quiet and the flowers were soaking in the last remaining rays of light against a perfect sky!

The wind was quiet and the flowers were soaking the last remaining rays of light amongst a perfect sky! After the shoot was done, I knew I had just captured a magical moment!
