Navigating to this composition through blistering cold conditions with snow and ice blowing in my face, was another all time challenging shot of mine. When the winds finally settled a bit and pushed the storm clouds away from the distant peaks, the sunlight broke through a small opening in the sky just enough to light up the surrounding valley with its welcoming embrace.
