Eystrahorn Winterglow

The calm and windless night on this jagged coastline presented me with a gorgeous reflection of Eystrahorn Mountain under the breathtaking Aurora Borealis. Waiting on the bank of this half frozen lake, I sat patiently in the five degree weather for the aurora’s to start dancing overhead. For a short amount of time, the atmosphere lit up in this incredible landscape with a glow of neon green and turquoise colors throughout the cold night sky. A moment I will take with me for the rest of my life on how lucky I was to experience such a marvel of nature for the first time.
