I had been tracking this particular low-system for well over a week, it was fierce and extremely cold. I knew the odds were pretty good that we would see a decent amount of snow in the Southwest desert; however, nothing could have prepared me for what was to come. With three days of snow flurries and temperatures in the teens, the day after the storm passed through, I found the Four Peaks covered in a fresh coat of snow all the way to their base, several thousand feet below! Capturing this epic moment as the sun sets is something I will never forget in this lifetime!
