The calm and windless morning spent on this jagged coastline presented me with a gorgeous reflection of Vestrahorn Mountain. In the distance, you can see the half frozen shoreline that slowly dips below the waterline showcasing just how far I stood out to capture this entire scene. Iceland is known for having conditions that aren’t always in your favor. Brutal winds, complete downpours of rain, and even blizzards are always coming and going with each day. I was very excited to finally capture this scene I had always envisioned on this magical morning just before sunrise.
