Motu Taha’a

Our helicopter pilot made several passes high above this magical landscape as I experimented with the angles of the shot, trying to find the best possible vantage point for the composition. The light was shining bright onto the motu making the turquoise-colored ocean accentuate the corals below and the distant island of Bora Bora behind making for an iconic capture. With several passes, the wind had finally calmed long enough for us to be 50 ft. above the ocean and directly behind this small motu. Luckily, we were fortunate that the weather cooperated for us to get such a unique perspective of Bora Bora. I am still blown away with what we were able to capture this day!
