Picacho Whisper

The rarity of this phenomena is quite a treat to experience in person. After over a couple of decades of not having the right conditions to capture this moment, the elements finally gave way to a sight that is extremely rare and fleeting. These tiny purple flowers require just the right amount of rain and ground temperatures for the seeds to germinate. With consistent rainfall throughout the winter months, the lupine were able to flourish! Watching these little flowers flutter in the breeze brought a smile to my face. As the sun began dipping below the horizon, I captured the last remnants of light, ending a decades long chase finally capturing a shot I had only been dreaming about until now!
