POINT ARENA LIGHTHOUSE

The raw power that emanates from this coastline is absolutely awe inspiring! The waves crashed with such force and violence that the foam was a foot deep across the shoreline! Final light cast an enigmatic glow that took over the scene. Between the setting sun and the dramatic coastline, the moment brought a sense of urgency and electricity to the air that I simply had to capture! In this moment, I was able to share something special with you about the magic of the North coast! I chose a slower shutter with this image because I felt a calm about the place that was grounded over millennia and I wanted to interpret the peace withing the chaos, the reverence of a moment within the harshness of the sea!
