REFLECTION BLISS

Our master pilot, York, made several passes high above this magical landscape right as the sun fell behind the distant peaks. This light was mild and a gentle blue tone covered the sandstone, which made everything appear to have a subdued warm tone to it that was simply breathtaking. After making a couple passes, I still hadn't captured what I was after and the light was fading quickly. With one pass left, York banded hard to avoid getting the rotors in the shot and opened everything up at 14mm perfectly! I was wide open and got this incredible vertical shot in such a unique perspective. I am still blown away with what we were able to capture this night.
