Sentinels Of Light

It was dark outside. It was not raining at all, just moody and you couldn’t see any light from the sun at all. One of those days where I wonder to myself what I am doing out and about, however wisdom has taught me that you never know unless you are out there! I had decided to sit on a small group of pines I had found amongst the oak brush and decided that I would make my afternoon out of being patient. As if by some luck, for a brief few moment the sun decided to barely peek through the clouds. There wasn’t enough light for the sky to open up and shine through, however, just enough to send a few rays of light through and illuminate the scene you see here. One of those utter moments of magic that will always captivate my imagination and take my breath away!
