Sonoran Sunshine

When I began to explore up higher on these gentle ridges, the saguaros seemed to tower above, even larger than life! Some of them are over 30 feet tall with branching arms reaching out to the sky! This rare carpet of Yellow Mexican Poppies danced about in the delicate breeze as cotton ball clouds rolled past and beyond the horizon! It is not often that you catch me shooting in broad daylight, however with the petals of the poppies fully open to the sun and radiating their warmth, I simply had to shoot this absolutely perfect scene! A natural wonder and moment of beauty in the Sonoran landscape that I will never forget for so long as I am alive.
