Tranquility

For three days, the rain fell with a vigor, and I confidently knew we were in for a treat! Rain fell hard in the driest of deserts and water flooded basins all across the Mojave. As the giant frontal system began to pass overhead, the water began to pool up in the low laying basins and created the most magical reflections and epic lighting conditions! This particular morning was soft and pastel, light pinks and oranges gently danced about the horizon, giving way to the dawn of a new day! The drama and soft mood here was so compelling that I fell in love instantly!
