VALLEY OF FIRE
Sitting precariously perched in the pitch dark above a lunar mesa, I watched intently for the direction this particular storm was traveling! The storm was moving through quickly and time was of the essence! I had my lens zoomed into 70mm and made sure I was aimed in the right direction before the next strike! Poised and attempting to time it just right, I dropped the shutter on a short exposure. Resulting in a perfectly centered strike that illuminated the valley below! I’d rather be lucky than good any day! I’m very glad I was able to capture this shot on this occasion!
